April 26, 2012 Was a really cool tour, but the beers lacked in selection and flavor. |

January 9, 2012 Did the brewery tour while heading to Chicago for the weekend. Had a great time and like many brewery tours it was free. This was the first time I heard about mixing the different beers. Remember having a honey bear (honey weiss and berry weiss) that was decent. Highly recommended even though my rating is low due to it being very hard to have a high selection score with only a few Leinie options on tap. |

November 20, 2011 Tricked Amanda and Vaughn into coming here with me on our way to Green Bay for Josh and Angie’s wedding. A tasting room and gift shop. Beer is okay, actually the beer mixes here were the highlight. |

November 15, 2011 The brewery is integrated with the cool historic site of where Leinenkugel’s beer first began. The staff was very helpful and all had a great deal of information on the history of the leinenkugel familiy and the history of the brewery. The only downside of the brewery is that you can only drink a certain amount of beer there. Also, the merchandise that is actually unique and the signs etc. that you would want in your house are very expensive. On the other hand there are many trinkets, clothing, and glassware that are very reasonably priced. You need to try the mixed beer recipes if you go to this brewery. Overall it was a great experience touring and just enjoying this brewery. |

May 8, 2010 I have done the Leinie tour 2X now. A great value in that it’s free! The Lodge has a nice northwoods feel with a cool bar where the samples are served. The tour is cool - malt and brew areas, bottling/canning and then back to the lodge of some sampling. Definitely a value worth pursuing if in the area. |

January 2, 2010 Made the visit to the Lenie’s Lodge and took the brewery tour in early 2009. Nice tour, very informative. The place still has a family feeling to it and looks, acts and smells like a small family brewer and not a division of Miller/Coors. The Lenie Lodge is fabulous. Lots of beer memorabilia and gifts. Tasting was fun but limited to 2 beers. Nice stop and would recommend it if you are in the area. |

June 4, 2009 Tour was quite informative with decently sized groups. Brewing process and history was explained very well. Lodge is basically a tourist attraction with tons of Leinie’s merchandise but does have a nice atmosphere. Only two, seven ounce samples are given and include all of their year-round brews and the current seasonal. Not bad for $0. Worth the stop for sure. |

May 26, 2009 Lodge is a museum/gift shop with more Leinie’s merchandise than you could imagine. They had a lot of old photos and old bottles/cans on display that were pretty neat. Tour didn’t allow photos, which was a bummer. Tour girl was knew her script pretty well and gave a nice walking tour of their brewery. Unfortunately, they are not brewing/bottling on Saturdays, so the factory was completely empty. I would have liked to have seen the bottling operation in action, as you walk right by the area. We visited during craft brewing week, so the free tour came with 8 or so 4-oz samples. They could have used a 3rd server in their bar for the samples, as they 2 folks they had working when I was there were pretty unattentive. Still, really nice considering it costs $0. Worth a stop if you are in the general area, through this is about all there is to do in Chippewa Falls. |
