This supermarket was a bit of a shock for me. Wish they had this selection of national and international craft beers in dutch supermarkets. Even spotted a Molen beer overhere. Food was pretty okay as well ;-)

The supermarket appears to be reducing its supply of New Zealand craft beers and now have very few available. What is available is available elsewhere for considerably cheaper. They do have a good selection of international beers, which seem to be taking over the shelf space of the NZ beer.

Quite easily the best supermarket selection of local and imported beers in Christchurch (possibly further afield as well). Where I go to source some of the more interesting foreign beers that I have rated in the past, also an excellent supporter of local and New Zealand beers. Service gets a three rather than a usual supermarket 1 because while you’re left to your own devices, the liquor manager and I had a brief chat once (a nice chap too).
