| b3shine (12), Cincinnati, Ohio | | May 10, 2012 Good beer selection and great burgers. Do yourself a favor and get the grilled mac and cheese for your side; it’s awesome! | | DrSilverworm (13), Cincinnati, Ohio | | December 6, 2011 [ Updated December 25, 2011 ] The place was dead on the rainy week-day night that my girlfriend and I visited it, but I like a quiet scene. She had the asian burger, I had the special, a very spicy mexican burger. Both were excellent, but the sides stole the show. She had the mac and cheese, which had a grilled crunchy cheese layer that was amazing. I had the sweet potato fries, which came with a delicious sort of syrup-sauce, it was nearly a desert. The ambiance was nice and not-too-dark, a reasonable place to take your family but enjoy great beer at the same time. Pretty nice and varied selection, with a nice-looking detailed dedicated beer menu. Some rotating seasonal taps. Waitresses were very nice and accomodating (like I said, it was dead). T-shirts were an astonishing $11, very cheap. I was very happy with this place, and will definitely be making a return visit (at least once a month to try their "burger-of-the-month")... It’s especially convenient that it’s only about 5 minutes from my house. A great discovery.
On a return visit, I discovered their happy hour. From 2-6, select appetizers are half-off (for $3.50), and all of their beers are $3.50! What an awesome value for incredible craft beers. | | Chudwick (47), Taylor Mill (KY), France | | November 25, 2011 Great burgers. Good service. Kinda of cold temperature wise. Variety as far as the rotating taps go. Suburban atmosphere. Good beer selection. | | Tmoney99 (331), Cincinnati, Ohio | | March 17, 2011 [ Updated April 10, 2011 ] Re-rate 04/10/11: Stopped at the end of a motorcycle ride. Bartender was quick & knowledgeable about beers and food. Every place and person, including me , has a bad day.
Easy to find location off Wooster on corner of strip shopping area. Good parking in lot in front. Bar on right with seating for food and beer all around with a second room of tables. 20 % bar and 80 % food seating. Stopped at 5:00 on St. Patty Day. Nice that there was a seat at bar. Nice listing of beers all at $4 to $5 with one beer I had not had and was looking forward to trying. Two people behind bar, both back at the cash register. I was in the center right at the bar. After ten minutes waiting with no hello, I will be with you in a minute or even we dont want to serve you, I put the beer list down and walked out. Could be a nice addition to the area, but not for me. | | verymerrymonk (17), Cincinnati, Ohio | | November 26, 2010 Just had dinner at Flipdaddy’s for the first time and I am impressed. We split a Chuck Norris burger and one of their regular burgers. Both very good - the meat is delicious. Killer sweet potato fires and bruschetta also.
The beer list is very, very good for a family style, sit down restaurant. Our server was excellent, she knew the food and bar menus well. I’ll be back. |
