8 reviews for Keller’s IGA
matthewjk (6), Cincinnati, Ohio does not count - explanation | | October 29, 2009 Keller’s makes the best of their college area location and has a noticeably expanded beer selection compared to other IGAs. Not great value or ambiance: it’s all about getting that dank beer and getting out of the dump. | | foundmd (14), Cincinnati, Ohio | | July 18, 2009 Always surprising what you might find here. They have a nice selection of six-packs with some domestic bombers and a small Belgian shelf. I noticed bottles from AleSmith, Bell’s, Dogfish Head, Great Divide, Stone, and Southern Tier among others. After catching a movie across the street, I picked up a Great Divide 15th Anniversary and a Stone 13th Anniversary. If you’re in the area and looking for some great beer it’s definitely worth it. My wife found one of her favorite wines that she had not seen in Ohio. Keller’s is located very close to Ludlow Wines in Clifton. | | phaleslu (86), Cincinnati, Ohio | | July 1, 2009 Surprisingly excellent selection of bottles for a small grocery store by today’s standards. It’s great to have right around the corner from me. Super-friendly employees. Mostly six packs with some individual bottles and a few twelve packs. They seem to turn the inventory pretty well, so there’s always something a little different each time along with the local and national microbrew staples. | | Tmoney99 (254), Cincinnati, Ohio | | May 1, 2008 Easy to find location with small lot on the side with large parking lot in the back. Service is freindly grocery store staff. Selection is large selection of singles with twelve coolers with bombers and six packs. Good grocery store food and standard selection of wine. Picked up some snacks. Good place for take-out food and good standard brews. | | shigadeyo (57), Harrison, Ohio | | April 7, 2007 Keller’s IGA is a small, local grocery store located in Clifton on Ludlow Avenue (down the hill from UC). Parking is available on the side or in the back. They mostly carry all the usual 6-packs available in the area (Bell’s, Brooklyn, DFH, Goose Island, Great Lakes, etc.) as well as the usual selection of imports, import singles, and macro selections. They have some singles in the cooler, but nothing special really caught my eye. The prices seem a bit high as well... | | MI2CA (19), Noblesville, Indiana | | October 24, 2005 Stopped on my way through town. Easy access from highway. Great selection of Bells, Victory, DFH, Weyebracher, Stoudt’s, Great Lakes, Goose Island, Alesmith, Stone, Avery. Decent selection of Belgians, Germans, and English. Also had many one or two examples from tons of other obscure brewers. | | papajohn (25), San Diego (Mira Mesa), California | | July 13, 2005 [ Updated January 19, 2006 ] Fantastic selection of micros, imports and east coast/mid west brews. Bryan stopped to check if he could help me find anything special, and we talked beer for 15 minutes or so. He mentioned that JCW is a frequent flyer here. Took home home a sixer of Kalamazoo Stout, Two hearted Ale and a 750 of Stouts IPA. Oh yeah they have AleSmith and Stone, but those are everyday beers for this San Diego homeboy. http://www.kellersiga.com/ | | JCW (89), Cincinnati, Ohio | | January 13, 2004 [ Updated September 5, 2008 ] I used to live in Clifton, and I thought they had a nice selection, but it has gotten better. I was in today, they had an excellent selection, including such gems as Avery’s 10th Anniversary, Great Divide’s Maverick series, Dreadnaught in addition to their regulars such as Storm Kings, HopDevil, Expedition, Two Hearted, Stone’s Imperial, etc. Brian the Store manager will also take request and he’s a Great guy!
