The bottle selection is pretty good. Always head there on the way home for some Smuttynose and some pizza.

Whole Foods is located in Rookwood Commons on the East Side of Cincinnati. The bottle selection is pretty solid, better than what you’ll find in most places in the area. Large single bottles of a lot of Belgians are available (Chimay Red and Blue, Delirium Tremens, and some of the other big ones). A lot of American micro 6-packs are always in stock, but few 12 ounce bottles are broken down as individuals. The key here is that the store does a good job in stocking seasonals in 6-packs. Great Lakes, Goose Island, Great Divide, Breckenridge, Brooklyn, and many others are represented year-round and seasonally. It’s definitely worth a stop to come in, grab some free samples of the food, and walk out with some good beers. There’s also a nice wine section that has recently been expanded.

I stopped in here to pick up some food. Now that I’ve come on to enter ratings for some others places I see it listed. It has an acceptable selection of beer options though hardly enough to make one jump for joy. If you are really hurting for beer or want to do your shopping and beer buying in one trip it *might* be acceptable. Otherwise drive a bit north or south to one of the better stores in the area.

Stopped here on the way home from work. Easy to find location with large parking lot in the back of Rockwood Commons. Service is freindly grocery store staff. Selection is limited to two coolers with one cooler of singles and the other of bombers and six packs. I found four new beers and two very good beers to make a six pack for $8.99. Good grocery store food and self serve salad and food bars. Picked up a grilled turkey meatloaf to-go. Clean place for take-out food and a few brews.

This Wild Oats is located at Rookwood Commons (the new side) next to Old Navy. There is plenty of parking available as long as it’s not around the holidays! I hadn’t been into this store for quite some time until I was in the area doing some Christmas shopping during the 2006 season. They have the typical micro/craft/import beer selection for the area as well as some singles (e.g. Unibroue 750s). They also allow you to mix 6 packs and buy singles of most beers for less than $2 each. Other than beer, they also have wine and tons of food (it is a "health food store" after all!).

Health food store with an average beer selection. It has a restaurant in store, and you can buy single for a reasonable price of $1.95 per bottle. Out door dining. Nice place to grab a bite to eat and a micro or an imported beer.
