| kiefdog (101), Tampa, Florida | | June 15, 2009 Visited this new addition to the Tampa beer scene in late May. Located almost directly across from Ruth Eckerd Hall, this is a generally small to medium size coffee shop and fine beer bar in a newish small strip mall. Nice tap and bottle selection with nothing exceedingly rare. I did find Ommegang Rouge on draft here when I visited, the first time I had seen this beer in the local area on draft. Good selection of American micros as well in addition to the wide selection of Belgian beers. Airy, contemporary feel inside. We were the only patrons drinking beer when we visited, so the service was excellent. The bartender said it can get really busy on weeknights, so not sure about then. Generally a nice new beer bar, one that I will visit again when in the area. | maverick3217 (1), does not count - explanation | | May 6, 2009 This is a great addition to the Tampa Bay beer scene not to mention that they have amazing coffee as well. The atmosphere is relaxed and the beer is great and presented in the proper glassware, prices are very competitive and thier limited food menu is outstanding. You can’t miss this place I am hooked I stop for coffee on my way to work, and a beer on the way home, I am hooked.
Cheers | | HOPSHUNTER (16), Tampa, Florida | | April 25, 2009 New coffee cafe and beer bar in Clearwater. Partially owned by owner of World of Beer Clearwater. 32 taps, pretty nice selection including Duchesse. They have a cooler of bottles. Selection definitely reflects owner’s love of Belgians. They open at 6am and serve gormet coffees, espressos, smoothies, and pastries. Later in the day they do lunch, I had the cheese plate it was very good. Very nice place overall. |
