I really want to like this shop, but there are better beer-stores in Columbus, and Cleveland and Cincinnati both offer better than the best Columbus has to offer. Still, this is one of a few games in town for homebrew supplies, and probably has the most comprehensive assortment in town (that Iíve seen), although it is no great shakes and Listermannís in Cincinnati blows it away from that perspective. Still, itís respectable for this town, and I am grateful to have a place for homebrew supplies. Like all homebrew shops, it is not in a glamorous part of town. A good 20 feet of cooler space, all devoted to craft beer, yet I couldnít find anything interesting enough to buy. Homebrew supplies took up a full aisle, but there was hardly a limitless selection. Turn seemed a bit limited. This place is nice inside and the staff seemed helpful. The cashier I chatted with was also a homebrewer, which is a nice thing. Iíd recommend it, but only as a "local recommendation." If youíre just passing through Columbus, this place is probably not worth getting off the interstate to hunt down.

I stopped by this place with the family as my dad tried to impress me with the local homebrew shop that has some beers. Overall it is a nice little place but nothing special. The service was good very nice and friendly not sure about their knowledge. They had fair selection of home-brew materials. The beers were quite a bit lacking though. They had a decent selection of craft 6 packs but it wasnít stuff crazy rare, just some decent staples. They had a few singles but nothing exciting. My biggest complaint with their craft selection was that 90% of it was in the cooler. This is a huge pet peeve of mine.

Great place to get hard to find wine/beer. This is a carry out shop, no drinking there. The staff is very helpful with beer and wine, just ask them. They also have home brew supplies, and 1/6 bbl kegs available.
