70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20
This used to be a convenience store. Now, itís a wine and beer store. The selection isnít huge, but what they do carry is worth it. Thereís always something interesting enough to pick up, and they get a fairly constant supply of new beers. My biggest complaint is virtually everything is in a cooler. Just not optimal in my book.

I was impressed with this store. From the outside I was not expecting much. Inside is clean and well organized. Nice selection of bombers. Same could be said for the 4 and 6 packs. Close to the cashier are the special bombers. I noticed a couple of Three Floyds Behemoth on the shelf...not a brewery that you see in many places around columbus. I live within 10 minutes from this store, I will definetly be back and spend some more time looking at the selections.

stopped by here Barleyís as recommended by our server... decent selection of sixers, lots of local cbus stuff, they do have some singles from 6 packs but they are really expensive and none of the better beers... service is good, very friendly... weirdest part was they were having a tasting but charged a quarter per drink, thatís not really a tasting

(Visited 01/2009): Grandview Carry Out is located at the corner of Grandview and 3rd and the building is attached to Cowtown Pizza. There is a small private lot plus nearby street parking.
The interior is a typical wine/beer/liquor store and is laid out well, as well as giving off a tidy appearance. The beer is in the rear of the store and is located primarily in coolers. There are some bottles and cases here and there at room temperature.
The beer selection is pretty good. Domestic brewers like Stone, Bellís (they had Hopslam), Great Lakes, Buckeye, Rogue, Two Brothers and Warbird were represented. There were also some imports from the usual suspects in the UK and Germany primarily.
Service was good on a Monday early evening. The shopkeep was friendly and made sure to ask if we were looking for anything in particular. Plus he had a kitty cat in the store which earned big points with my wife.
Overall this store is on par with about anything in the Grandview area selection-wise, and is worth checking out.

Just got back from my first visit to this place. Grandview Carry Out is located on the corner of Grandview and 3rd. This place was clean, probably the cleanest place Iíve bought beer after three years in Columbus. The service was awesome. When I go into a store I like to be left alone and for the first 45 seconds I was actually completely alone(Heavenly}. The selection was pretty good Stone, Bells, Avery... all the regs.. I didnít really hang out and look that long, I locked on my first Hopslam of the year and ran out of the store to consume it. I think this is my new beer store, but weíll see.
