Again, I visited this Trader Joes and I am reminded why I hate them, no personality and no real help

Stopped in today to look at the beer selection. I was disappointed that TJ’s doesn’t offer more singles, especially in the 12oz. size. However, there was a decent selection of sixers. The service is good, and the prices are pretty low, so if you aren’t looking exclusively for singles this may be the place to go.

This i smy 1st ever visit to a Trader Joes.I loved the store feel and layout.Lots of interesting items here.I went over to check the beer aisle and had a small, but real decent selection. They did not offer too many singles tho. Most of them were sixers only.If I had lived there and was not flying I would have purchased the sixers.Great store.Thank you Dawn for showing me this place

(Visited 08/2007): One of two (so far) Trader Joe’s in the Columbus area, this one is located in the always busy Easton area. There is parking all around the store but finding a spot right by the entrance is usually pretty difficult. While a chain, Trader Joe’s maintains the mom ’n’ pop feel of a smaller grocer that specializes in organic and higher-quality foods (at a premium price of course). The beer and wine selection is in the left rear of the store, with some featured beers on end caps here and there. TJ’s features several of their own beers, along with brews from recognizable brewers like North Coast, Rogue, Flying Dog, Sierra Nevada, Chimay etc. Not too much of a regional or international presence but there are a couple beers from around the world to be found. They also have singles stickered at a reasonable price (especially the TJ-branded beers). Service here is about what you would expect from a grocery store. I never expect much in the way of beer knowledge at a place like this, so I base the experience on friendliness and willingness to help their customers find what they are looking for. Overall this spot and the MoJoe Lounge in the mall are better beer stops than one would expect in a sprawling indoor/outdoor mall, and both are definitely worth visiting when at Easton.

Stopped in here tonight and for the first time checked out their beer selection. It is quite small for the typical craft beer fan, but they did carry some of their own beer with a few other interesting craft brews I had not tried. Always a plus to me, is they do sell some singles and they were very very reasonably priced. I bought a bottle of Anchor Steam for 89 cents! I have not seen a single bottle below a dollar prior to this. Very small selection, but I did find many beers I personally had not tried. Their cheese selection is great and wine selection is above average.
