Can be really packed but is overall a welcoming place. Samples are offered and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable being able to advise customers properly. Prices are as usual in the city pretty high. Good place to hang out though.

My second visit, the first being lost in the worst hangover I have ever had. In the partially reclaimed red light district and a bit dowdy by design. Another of the Danish bars that are targeting high margin and flashy beers ahead of illustrating Danish or Scandinavian more generally. Their own brews, made at Dry & Bitter, are the best value. For the rest try to forget the exchange rate.

One of Copenhagen’s great bars. Very little space, but outdoor serving solves this problem pretty well. A lot of people, but still a great atmosphere. Great selection of beer, both on tap and on the bottle list. Location is great, very close to Warpigs etc.

One of the best bars in Copenhagen in an area that’s well worth a visit for any beergeek.

Located close to Warpigs, Kihoskh and Mikkeller Bar which is not that far from Taphouse, really, so easy to walk from place to place. Food and/or prostitutes is available in the area.
Fermentoren gets busy and crowded on the weekends and is more the kind of place you go to tie one on in good company than do your nerdy rating. However, you can get ticker friendly 20cl servings and the place has 20 taps, usually a mix of Danish, American and one or two Belgian and German beers. Fine bottle list also with a good selection of Belgian and American beers last time I checked.
They show football and do barbecue on a regular basis and sometimes they even update their taplist on facebook. Service is always friendly and knowledgeable but might also be very busy, depending on the time and day. Retreat to an outdoor area with heaters is possible. Fine place that I like to visit on a regular basis.

I have visited this place around 6-7 times now I have to say that I like it. The selection is good and the staff friendly. The place was crowded during CBC 2015 but it was a nice party. I especially like the large outdoor sitting area. Located close to the Central Station, Warpigs, Mikkeller Bar. Well worth a visit.
