Rectangular shaped bar down a couple of steps from the street level and slightly sunken in this respect. One large room and a small room to the side, in addition to this space there is a bench on street level outside. Random music and EPL football greeted us inside . Tap list is solid enough, mainly Danish micros plus a few US ticks thrown in. A couple of fridges behind the bar stock bottles and cans also. Service was expedient. Overall a worthy stop on a crawl of CPH and you will likely find a few ticks here that you won’t elsewhere.
Lots of Danish craft beers on draft and interesting bottle menu. Relaxing atmosphere and a weird but pleasant combo of Jazz music and Premier League Football. No problem at all having a conversation about beer, glance at football and enjoy some easy listening jazz. I’m for sure a beer geek, football and jazz are ok, but not important at all for me. Friendly service and definitely at pub I will return to.(Visited September 19th 2015 with Bjarte1)
Nice wee place, good beer selection on tap and bottles from various places. Can be as well crowded. Prices are actually pretty high. Staff is friendly and good with their advice. Good place overall for a few!
For me one of the best bars in Copenhagen and for beer selection alone, the best. But then I like an eclectic mix of extreme, foreign, alternative-regular, and folksy. The draft list is good but the real gems are on the bottled list, which still have numerous examples of beers that do not cost DKK 10 per alcohol percentage point per 33cl. A good place to find those Mikkeler beers that excel for quality alone without the need for inventive swank. Would have scored 5 for ambience if it lost the TV screens. Like the candles.
