This place is seriously underrated on RateBeer. It can easily rival Kihoskh for one of the Top #3 spots in the list of Copenhagen bottle shops to visit and it beats Kihoskh on price although perhaps not convenience considering its location on the other side of the harbour canal from the city centre. Originally a wine shop but with a strongly growing selection of specialty beer numbering between 200 - 300 different bottles from predominantly Danish, American and Belgian microbrewers. I share the taste of the guy in charge of procurement so every time I go there I’m basically tempted to buy the whole shop. The selection has a slightly greater emphasis on novelty and less on vintage than Barley Wine with which it otherwise shares a few characteristics (knowledgeable and passionate staffer, small room with wide variety of high quality beer). Among Danish brewers I would say that they have a special emphasis on Mikkeller, To Øl, BeerHere, Amager Bryghus, HornBeer, Black Rooster, Evil Twin, Stronzo, Herslev and related brewers. Fanø is noticably absent. They have Belgian sours such as Cantillon Mamouche, Iris, 3F Golden Blend, Among the American breweries represented I counted the likes of Clown Shoes, Cigar City, Alesmith, Anchorage Brewing, Founder’s As mentioned in the above this place is a serious contender for one the top 3 spots in my personal list of favourite beer shops in Copenhagen.

Speciality store with wine, liquor, beer, tobacco and chocolate. Nice selection with good Danish, American, Belgian stuff. A few other counties spotted as well. Serviceminded staff. Selection is the some as other good beer stores in Copenhagen, but if you´re nearby its´s recommended.

Nice selection of bottled beers that you would not expect to find here. Both Danish and foreign macros and micros. Price level ok and the staff friendly and quick albeit not afficionados.

En vinhandel der har et stort udvalg af øl. Mange amerikanske og de bedste danske. Lidt fra resten af verden. Servicen er god og professionel, og det er en fornøjelse at besøge butikken. Priserne er generelt lavere end de rene ølbutikker.

pretty large selection with seemingly everything from drikkeriget , souped up with beer from other importers. I would estimate the bottle count to be more like 200 than 100. Wide selection of mikkeller, many US beers and a decent amount of belgian too. The store seems to go for quality (good brewers) instead of quantity - i found lots of stuff that i like in the store. Prices are vey fair and the service i got was well informed and i got good suggestions. This was my first visit, but the store will definetly be on my list of stores i visit frequently going forward. They have 3 fridges with cold beer, two of them with craft beer like mikkeller, amager, hornbeer etc.

The selection of danish incl Mikkeller beer is big and good, the belgian is not that impressive but once in a while is the selection of Bamberger beers both the rauchbeers and the tasteful pilsners is a joy to discover! Service is friendly but their taste for Thisted is a little overrated in my opinion. The prices are acceptable and in the lower end.

Officially a winestore, but with a large beer selection. Expecially good on Mikkeller and Amager Bryghus, but you’ll also find Beer Here, Hornbeer and other Danish craftbeers. And quite a few Belgian (Fantome, 3 Fonteinen, Cantillion), German, English and some of the best American crafts (Like Alesmith, Stillwater, Stone, Cigar City and Three Floyds). The place has it’s own Beer Newsletter and tastings on the spot from time to time. Some of the staff are very in-the-know on the beer, others are not.
