Dive bar feel with over 100 brews on tap. The bartender was cool as hell and was pouring taster after taster of all the beers I can’t get in TX and wanted to try. Peanut shells all over the floor and chachkis galore. Old school taps line the ceiling adding a cool vibe and they have half priced brews from 8-10 every day. The only drawback here was everything is served in chilled glasses, even the Stone IRS I ended the night with. A place with so many good brews on tap should know better.

Pretty good beers on tap. Great place if you are looking for a bar to get away from the normal crowd.

It’s big, dirty, and fun. not the best place or the cleanest lines and has a frat party vibe but if you get there on a mellow night this is a pretty decent place.

This is a favorite for me. Loud rock, punk music. Have to talk loud. Peanuts on the floor. Dirty and grungy type of place. 141 taps. Push your way to the bar on Friday and Saturday nights. Can get a pitcher of Chimay for something like $65, not that I would. Foosball, billiards, etc. A covered patio where people can smoke, but it still feels like you are inside.

sawdust on the floor kind of place. lots of taps 141 some rear finds for the area can get loud and crowded but thats the kind of place it is. had a great time here will go back when in the area

Dive bar with a ton of taps - peanut shells and sawdust on the floor. It is right across the street from a Tap House, although the Goat has been there for at least 20 years longer. Unfortunately, they do not seem to keep their tap lines clean. I have been by several times in the past year to be served very off flavor beers: Ruination & Racer5 come to mind. Prices are low and they sure sell a lot of pitchers of domestic pilsners...

Has an amazingly HUGE list of beers on tap and what is better is there seasonal beers are up-to-date with new releases of Stone and other local breweries. If the plastic mug bothers you, order an imperial pint of beer for a larger serving in a real glass. Fun place to chill during the afternoon when empty or at night in the puke room, smoke room or sweat room. A truly fun experience from the typical Newport bar scene.

What a funky place! Peanut shells on the ground, a knowledgable, yet gruff bartender, a HUGE tap list, but only a handful were really good. Open air pool room in the back. They had no food except hot dogs, so we got some microwave popcorn that was quite chewy. Don’t have the popcorn.

Went on my birthday. Bartender gave me a couple of shots and recommended a very good beer. Uptempo atmosphere, young crowd, full of life. Lots of great beers to choose from, a great place to hang out with friends or meet new people.

This is a crazy place. It has really turned into a hang for the College kids. Good selection of beer, best selection of Scotch. The only reason the service rating is not so good is because it’s 4-5 deep at the bar --- nothing they can do. The Harp, down the street, is OC’s best beer bar. (www.harpinn.com)
