You walk in and smell their cigar humodor. All the way in the back they have about 6 doors of out of date beer and a few new ones mixed in.
I like the Korean lady who works the counter most of the time. She talked a good game about some of the beers, likely regurgitating what some of the smarter customers have told her. Also easy on the eyes.
The selection is quite interesting. Stone, Vintage Stone, a few Lost Abbey, Nongne-O,Jolly Pumpkin, Port Brewing, and Old Old Avery. If you are going to go there, I suggest getting thing that can take sitting on the shelf for four years in a liquor store. Or pick up something you know is fairly new.
The prices for some of these vintage strong ales and such are nicely priced.
Overall, an interesting place to visit, and they have some hidden gems that are obviously not being sold. |
