| phaleslu (241), Saint Louis, Missouri | | July 3, 2009 I didn’t have high expectations coming in here and expecting more of a wine-centric selection, and was pleased to find a beer cooler that stretched the length of the west wall. Plenty of Dogfish Head, Bell’s, Thirsty Dog, as well as the local/regional beers. Huge selection of liquor and wine. Good prices on everything in the store. I have yet to make it to the Party Source, but this isn’t bad if you need to make a quick stop off I-75. | | AndyReynolds (42), Wilder, Kentucky | | June 16, 2009 They have a great selection of Micro and Imports, but not many singles. Prices are better than Party Source, but the selection is not as good. The few times I have stopped by, the staff was not very friendly. They do have some rarities from time to time, so it is worth stopping in if you are in the area. | | illinismitty (275), Nashville, Tennessee | | March 6, 2007 Right over the bridge in Covington, KY. I never thought of stopping by because of the rating and it’s proximity to Party Source. The selection and prices here are not bad at all. However, they do not sell singles and the selection of imports pales in comparison to Party Source. But the domestic micro selection is good- Bells, Stone, Arcadia, Barrel House, Thirsty Dog, Goose Island, etc. Like Shigadeyo said, they may still have a few seasonals and limited release stuff on the shelves when Party Source is out. If you are beer hunting or in the area, it would not hurt to stop in. I walked out with some Bells Third Coast Old Ale and Fullers Vintage 2004. Staff was friendly. | | shigadeyo (58), Harrison, Ohio | | July 27, 2006 Mostly six packs, etc. Not too many beer singles. The Party Source has a much larger selection, but sometimes the Cork /n Bottle has something different. Also carries some rare/limited release stuff and so you might be able to find it there if The Party Source is out. Service is pretty good. Large selection of alcohol as well. Sometimes the prices are a little cheaper than The Party Source. | | Tmoney99 (331), Cincinnati, Ohio | | January 22, 2006 Easy to find diretly off I-75 over bridge for locals or people heading south on interstate. Clean and orderly package store with beer directly left after entering store. Six packs on wall shelves and singles in first cooler to the right. Good selection, I purchased three brews I had not yet tasted. Good selection of wine, alcohol and party snacks. Good stop and I will try regularly. | | bethmatt0421 (17), Covington, Kentucky | | September 4, 2005 [ Updated November 8, 2005 ] I’ve only shopped here for beer, so i cannot rate on the wine selection. Nevertheless, the beer selection is fairly good. They have some beers that are great (Ayinger Celebrator) and a lot of selections from Bells Brewery and Thirsty Dog, both great brewerys. the service isnt that great. but definitely worth going to for selections. | | JCW (101), Cincinnati, Ohio | | January 13, 2004 [ Updated March 2, 2012 ] This is the liquor store/wine store that most people think of first when someone mentions buying alcohol in Northern Kentucky. While I think they have a really nice wine and spirit selection their beer is selection isn’t what it could be and frankly what it once was. Cork’n Bottle carries a fair selection of imports, domestic micros and a lot of macros. If Party Town and Party Source weren’t close I might shop there occasionally for beers not carried in Ohio, but since they are near I rarely go into Cork’n Bottle. The service is helpful and it is very easy to get to from I-75. |
