The Half and Half is a modern, trendy bar located south of central Croydon. It has 5 taps (including Budvar light and dark) and 2 cask ales (Dark Star hophead and a seasonal guest). The bottle selection is surprisingly good: approximately 30 from the UK, Belgium and Germany. Particular stand-outs are Dark Star Imperial Stout, Hercule Stout and St Bernardus brews. The music was nice and chilled-out, the staff attentive and the decor modern. The Half and Half provides a much needed alternative to the regular nightlife of Croydon Town.
