An old-skool local bar in NE Croydon, near South Norwood. As well as the usual fizzy crap on tap they have 3 ales. During my visit these was London Pride, Doom Bar and Woodforde’s Wherry on offer, so nothing particularly exciting, but kept in decent enough condition. The best part of this pub is the slightly quirky interior. It is full of curiosities: brewing paraphernalia, stuffed animals, a suite of armour and fish tanks. I definitely wouldn’t go out my way for this place, but there are worse bars out there.....
