Gigantic selection of brewskis in this place! i saw pretty much all of the seasonals that should have been out by now as well as a few not so common growlers. Not that I needed any help but I didn’t notice many people available in case I would have needed it.

I used to go here for the beer selection but found a place closer to home. Never had enough inventory, always "out" of some of my favorite beer. Staff was decent but always very busy away fro the section. Hip place, but not my cup of tea I guess. My new favorite store is the real deal....

Good grocery store to look for beer or wine. Excellent selections with knowledgeable employees available to help. Can pick up snacks or dinner at the same time.

Nice swanky upscale grocery store, well lit, and has a neat layout. Service really tries to be good, but the people here are educated mostly on wine, not beer. Let’s face it the profit margins on wine are higher by about 10-15% so they’re going to know what they are supposed to push. I don’t fault them for that. Selection is above average in Dallas, but when it comes to specialty releases Central Market is hardly my first choice. In terms of "if it’s in Dallas regularly" then yes they will almost certainly have what you’re after with a few exceptions. Some of the better off-the-shelf pricing in the city, good singles selection, and overall a pretty good stop. It would be in my top 10 choices, but not my top 5.

The goods: Possibly the best number of beers available in all of Dallas. Prices are not unreasonable in what is a very upscale grocery. Staff very willing to both help and share knowledge. The bads: They don’t seem to carry much inventory. Therefore if you are there on a Saturday afternoon, the chances you’ll find a favorite beer (say Green Flash IPA) is almost zero. You literally have to do your weekend "beer shopping" on Thursday night or Friday morning. The other bad is "We’ll order it for you". They commit to that, but then never come through for you. You will wait months, finally call them, and they’ll say "Oh yeah, the distributor is out of it". If they had called the day I ordered the answer would have been different. That is why I order all of my beer through Veritas - ironically a Wine Bar.

Oddly enough, one of the top ten Dallas beer selections is at this grocery store. Reasonable everyday prices and occasionally some good sale prices. They stock their seasonals early here. You can also single out ANY beer in the case, from any 4 or 6-pack. Nice staff that knows more about beer than the average grocery store worker. This store continues to get my business with their prompt seasonal stocking and low prices.

There is a decent selection of beers, about as good as the selection at other Central Markets I have been to. The store doesn’t have the same selection that some of the other specialty beer stores have, but for the most part if a beer is available in Dallas, there is a good chance it will be there. The store has a decent selection of singles and has good prices.

I went here last time I was in Dallas and was impressed by the variety of the brew in addition to the wide range of good food, and fresh veggies. Really expansive beer selection, can’t say how great the selection is since I don’t know the range of selections in Dallas, but this place is worth a stop.

Nice selection at decent prices. The only thing is you have to ask them to break up sixers, which can be a pain. Lots of widely available stuff, but missing some of the hard to find stuff (which is expected).

Both CMs carry pretty much the same in DallasPlano good sometime hard to find stuff and they sell singles also most of the best cheeses available in town
