| KAggie97 (213), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas | | November 12, 2011 Typical Humperdink’s with the standard beer selection and the same average-at-best house brews. Stop by for ticks. | | rbyrgroup (10), Rowlett, Texas | | November 2, 2011 Not my favorite. They just need more of a selection. Loud but fun. | | SudsMcDuff (112), .....Manchester United.........., Texas | | August 20, 2011 I quite enjoyed my visit to Humperdinks... I would go here to watch a sports game, which seems to be how they aimed this place .. . pretty waitress was attentive, manager came by a few times also and chatted beer .. . pretty good food .. . and a really big selection of house brews .. . now to the next stop! | | blutt59 (121), Dallas, Texas | | July 11, 2011 Large TGIF feel with some of their own brews on tap, beer is mostly marginal, food is ok, can get quite busy during HH, etc, service is pretty decent , growlers available if so inclined | | Sammer (17), Plano, Texas | | August 26, 2010 Food was decent, beer was average and the server was a babe. All in all a decent place to have a drink if you are in the area. | | mar (60), Dallas, Texas | | August 14, 2010 Huge open layout, much bigger than I was expecting, large bar, plenty of seating, beers are decent. | | dukefan (51), Dallas, Texas | | April 23, 2010 Ambiance: The one on Greenville is right by me, but I much prefer this one. High ceilings, windows and wide open spaces makes this place quite comfy - compared to the Greenville cave.
Service: Not bad, BUT. The referee outfits they put on the women are both ugly and ill fitting. And they seem to hate them and it shows in their attitude. And who likes a referee anyway? Dumb choice. Service is very prompt, courteous and attentive here. Again, far better than Greenville Ave.
Selection: If you like uninspired, lesser flavored home made beer this is your place. The more aggressive styles are seldom to be seen. Currently a Maibock, that is pretty tasty. The IPA (Big Red) and Porter are very pedestrian, but are at least drinkable.
Food: Like the beer, competent, but uninspired and limited in aggressive flavors. Think Applebees and you’ve got the idea.
Value: They put coupons in email and the newspaper all the time for buy one meal, get one free. It nevers moves me to act. Enough said.
Overall: If you want great beer in Dallas, avoid this brewpub. The Gingerman is a far superior choice. If you want great food and beer, The Libertine is an awesome choice. | | Mora2000 (51), Dallas, Texas | | February 10, 2010 Pacific Northwest themed brewpub located at the intersection of NW Highway and Walton Walker. They usually have eight or nine beers on tap, ranging from not very good at all to average to slightly above average. They have samplers and inexpensive growlers of all of the beers. The food is nothing special, but is basic chain restaurant food: Burgers, chicken tenders, wings, etc... Not a great brewpub, but not a bad place to watch a game. | | fiulijn (273), Como, Italy | | December 27, 2006 Much nicer interior than the one in Dallas/Greenville, they have more or less the same number of beers but some are different. They brew on site. | | Walt (189), Austin, Texas | | December 23, 2006 Just the way most Humperdinks are...decent grill type food...mediocre house beers... |
