Yeah there is metal bars on the windows and it really does look like a hood liquor store on the outside. I remember finding some old OSAs here and a few old foghorns but for the most part the beer selection is less than stellar. As Andrew said, other than a very solid whiskey selection the real high point is the sake selection which is a freaking wall. I am not sure why they carry such an extensive selection but it is a great place to pick up anything from small 6 oz bottles to double magnums. Nice staff.

Walked in there today. Looks shady on the outside, but once inside, you see that they have a really fine wine selection. Do NOT go here for the beer, you will be dissapointed. They have macros, some New Belgium, the Chimay lineup, and some Fruit Lambics. What you SHOULD GO HERE for is the absolutely increadble Sake selection. I am one of the few members of the site who has had every single type of Sake, and I can tell you, that they have EVERY TYPE of SAKE. I picked up a Taru (cedar aged) for a friend of mine. They must have at least 50 different bottles of sake. They have hard to find styles such as Genshu, Taru, and Koshu. Amazing find in Dallas, has sakes that no Liquor store or Central market carry.
