| edweird (10), Daytona Beach, Florida | | April 11, 2011 A pretty cool hometown kind of place with a small selection of beer and some pretty good food. A good place to catch up with friends. | | fidel (67), Livermore, California | | September 4, 2009 Nice little place. Decent selection with a few local breweries highlighted. | | joeneugs (55), Livermore, California | | May 23, 2009 I really liked this place. My boss insisted on taking me here after a conversation about craft beer. I was really impressed with the quick and friendly service and the food was outstanding. I got the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings which were some of the best I’ve ever had. They had about 20 taps with mostly common micro brews, but a few rare gems. They happened to have RR Damnation which was a surprise. Another good one was the Grand Teton double ESB. Also a beer from English Ales out of Marina CA. Nice to see they support some lesser known local breweries. Word has it, it gets pretty rockin on Friday nights with a good, fun crowd. I’ll keep my eye on this one for some good rare local beers. | | polarbeer (10), | | December 2, 2008 The beer selection could be better but has some good beers and nice place to hangout sometimes. | | AgentSteve (77), SF Bay Area, California | | May 20, 2008 Decent place with just a bit of ambiance. Pretty full on a Monday night. Just above avaerage beer selection. Good food and service. Good to go there if in the area, but not really a great final destination. | | Ibrew2or3 (248), Phoenix, Arizona | | October 17, 2007 First time here since before they moved to their current location (at least 10yrs). Man this place cranks through new tap offerings. They have a good dozen or so regulars who have tried well over a thousand different beers by just going here. The food is pub fare that is average or a bit above average from what I could tell. I seem to remember it being better. They have a nice wrap around bar that used to be squeezed into their former location. This place was truly cutting edge back in the early 90s with their unique selection. I saw a Firestone Walker guy and a guy from E. J. Phair while I was there. I like to see that they support Schooner’s and other East Bay brews. This is certainly a place to hit if you want something new to try. |
