Like a big college sports/beer hall with cheap food, and cheap beer (all taps 3 dollars for happy hour) that just happens to include a great Norcal craft selection. Last time I was in, I had Pliny and Moylander, and noticed that they had nearly everything from Moylans and Marin on tap. The bartender was an ass, but the rest of the people seemed to be having better days. I wish we had a bar like this next to UCSB. I had to deal with a couple beers from Firestone and SN when I wanted to walk from my apartment to watch a game.

I can’t believe I haven’t rated this place!! One of the better beer bars in the Sacramento area. They have 50 taps and they rotated pretty quickly. Many of the taps are macro swill, but about 20 of them are devoted to craft beer. They have Pliny on at all times, and often have a few beers that you’d be surprised to see on tap. They have monthly beer events with a NorCal guest brewer (usually 3rd-4th Friday every month) and there are usually 6-7 beers from that brewer. Some of the bartenders are more knowledgeable than others. The food is decent. The bar is a sports bar by day and a country line dancing bar by night. During the weekends, the place is more family friendly with lots of little brats running around playing video games. Not the most relaxing place to have a beer, but the selection makes it worth it.
