Seems to be frequented by older locals, usually a good sign. Special book for all the beers. Lot of the usual but also a few special ones from Breugems, Eem or ’t IJ. Food not that special, some interesting sandwhiches. Most trappists. They’re playing the Breeders right now, worth some extra points.

Very nice cafe with a decent beer menu and good service. Worth visiting on a Saturday when the market is in full swing. Recommended.

definitely better then the one in rotterdam, smaller and perhaps thus attracting a more beer oriented crowd... selection is slightly better too....

A good beer bar in a small town that’s spoiled for good beer bars! Very central and can be crowded inside. Often some interesting beers on tap and a reasonable bottle selection.

The market outside was just about closing up for the day when we visited Locus Publicus on 2 April so the bar was bustling but not crowded. It’s a dark, cosy place – an old style brown café – with no pretensions. John told us that it hadn’t changed at all in all the years he’d been going there apart from a small television which had appeared since his last visit a couple of weeks before. It was hinged to the ceiling by the door and seemed to be showing, bizarrely, scores for the Cricket World Cup. There was a reasonable bottled beer list and a choice of beers on tap too.

Dimly lit Belgian style cafe with a tidy range of beers on draught and in bottles. Nice to try a few local beers and while there doesn’t appear to be anything out of the ordinary I still reckon it’s worth a pit stop. The young guy working the bar really knows his stuff too.

I like the atmosphere in "Het Klooster" better. Very good selection of beers though, they often have some interesting new ones when I visit this café every now and then, Some of the staff is very enthousiastic if you show interest in special brews.

Small and cosy but crowded and great atmospheric place. Nice beers, they got Westvleteren(!) Very nice waitresses and bartenders and good service. When being in Delft go there, you won’t regret it.

It’s a small, crowded pub with a lively athmosphere. The main reason of our visit was to eat, but the tap list is quite interesting.

Although quite young both barmen were very knowledgable and chatty.
