| BarrelRoller (10), , | | November 10, 2009 Small tasting room but with good beer selections. Friendly/educated staff. Pouring strong offerings in the middle of a damn fine beer town. Will definitely return. | | kiefdog (101), Tampa, Florida | | November 7, 2009 Visited on Friday early evening during GABF 2009 and by the time that we arrived, this place was packed. We took the only two available seats at the bar and proceeded to look over the tap list. Tasting room is generally small, but has windows that look out over the brewery. The servers were incredibly busy, and it was difficult to get samples and pours in a timely manner. I suspect most of these observations would evaporate on days when thousands of people are not in town for a beer festival. Overall, there were some nice beers on draft, and we would like to visit again and take the tour. | | theisti (114), Leawood, Kansas | | October 1, 2009 Visited Friday morning of GABF 2009, ratebeer event. Nice little tasting room, nice selection, nice tour. The brewery itself is coobbled together and has a lot of charm. Place was packed, but I still had some good service. Overall a must stop in Denver. | | illinismitty (224), Nashville, Tennessee | | September 28, 2009 I visited during GABF, in which they opened up the brewing and kegging area for us to roam around. That gives them a few more points, and the guy kegging was friendly and talkative even though he was working. The tap room looks like any other micro tap room, in which they sell shirts, draft beers, bottles to go, etc. It was very busy, but I thought the bartenders did a wonderful job handling the crowd. Beers are always good..it is Great Divide after all. | | IrishBoy (65), Bakersfield, California | | September 27, 2009 I went here during the Great Divide Opens Their Doors To RateBeer during GABF! Four FREE! Samples and Sour Claymore on draft! Even got a sample of BA Hibernation that I got the first rating on! I hung out with Ratman and since he knows everyone we had exceptional service! | | Jlockleg (11), | | September 17, 2009 Love the beer! | | sroberts (26), Columbia, Missouri | | September 7, 2009 I enjoyed the beer that was available. The atmosphere seemed to be made for return guests. The seating was in a small area and did not accommodate large groups. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. | | PaulUnwin (15), Pinellas Park, | | September 1, 2009 Very nice little Brewpub, I am a big fan of GDB, the staff were friendly and helpfull, and there were plenty of choices. Didn’t go for a tour, just drank the beer!! | | bblack99 (17), Kansas City, Missouri | | July 4, 2009 Tiny, tiny tap room indoors, but a nice amount of seating outside. The staff of two were extremely friendly and tried to help me pick out a few brews. Conveniently, I had already tasted all but three, so I went with those...all poured into the appropriate style of glassware. The happy hour pricing of $3 per pint is tough to beat for such high-quallity beer. One tap was even running a modified DPA as "Rockies Real Ale" and it was quite tasty! Definitely worth a visit before any Rockies game! | | notalush (159), Denver, Colorado | | June 18, 2009 One of the nicer brewery tasting rooms I’ve seen, and the outdoor seating is nice as well - small bar w/a handful of tables inside - the samples are a decent size, and your first four are free (five bucks for every four after that) - small but attentive staff - pretty much all of their beers are available to try either in draft or bottle form, including some limited release stuff - bottles are available to go, and they sell a nice variety of glasswear and clothing - this is an essential stop. |
