Ate here during GABF, so admiteddly the service was a bit slow as it was a zoo. Large number of taps, solid beers, food was excellent and not crazy priced.

I like the ambiance, nice wood building with a bar upstairs and down: tons of room! The service at the bar upstairs was horrible! The bartender did not know their beer, ignored me for an extended time, was slow at getting around the bar/understaffed, and refused to give more than four tasters at a time despite there being two people at the table. Very off-putting. Selection was decent: about fifteen of their beers, multiple brewery only I imagine. Also, about five non Wynkoop beers. Prices were really good. Overall, for a place that has never impressed me with their beer, I thought that they must have a really nice establishment. The establishment itself is very nice, and the location is amazing, but the service was horrid while I was there. Left me with no will to go back.

Handy for Union Station and the Coors Ballpark. My beer was a bit variable in quality, I wasn’t too impressed with my London Calling IPA but my Rail Yard Ale was fine. Good ambience, service fine, good conversation.

Large, two-story place on one of the nicer streets in Denver. All brick with arched doorways. Beautiful brass handles on the front entrance doors. Aged wood flooring throughout the downstairs and upstairs. Stairs are carpeted. To top of the stairs has a bannister made of pool cues alternating with wood posts. A nice elevated patio with concrete/stone tables and bar stools line Wynkoop Street. Very spacious upstairs. Downstairs has a distinct bar area and dining area, separated by the staircase. Service so far has been less than enthusiastic. But, the waitress did say she was from the east coast.

Great place, cozy indoors and a nice outdoors. Available beers were presented well in folders. Great food and also vegan friendly.

Great place. Ambiance totally deserves a 5. The pub is located in a neat old building--even the bar itself is really cool. The bartender was very nice and knew the beers. There more more beers available than I could drink--and the quality was very high.

A short walk from the hotel on a Sunday afternoon. Nice bar area, didn’t check out the rest. Staff helpful, a bit disinterested. 15 taps running, including a couple of nitro and cask pours. No flights, but up to three four ounce pours at a time. Super cheap tasters. Wide variety of beers, most sharing a common and not entirely pleasant flavor notes. Definitely worth the stop, just wish the beer was better.

This place is quite large. Upstairs and downstairs (seemed to be where the brewing is done, and where the bathrooms are). Lots of stuff on tap, I think about 12 beers or so. Overall, beer quality is good. Some losers and some winners, most in between. Service was not the best. Our server didn’t seem to be all that interested in helping us, wasn’t very personable, etc. If you’re here to watch sports, you kind of have to pick the game you want and find the TV that has it on because they’re arranged strangely and the bar isn’t really conducive to seeing more than one of the screens.

Visited on 10/11/12. GABF Week. (Stop #2 of the day)
A: Huge building with lots of bar space that can hold easily 20-30 patrons, plenty of tables, brewing tanks in back corner and a large patio. Really nice classic feel to the place.
Q: The beers we all tried were decent, no duds amongst our entire group of 5.
S: Service was decent, we got there before the place got busy and the server was friendly and knew about the beers, although slightly slow on taking orders.
S: Great Selection of In House beers, just short of 20 different beers that covered all the various styles.
F: Average on a really good day...of the 5 different dishes that we ordered, only one person was really happy with their dish. Not because we didnt like the food, but they were mostly boring or just not that good. This place had the worst food that we ate for our entire trip.
V: Pints and samples were priced about average for the area, 5-6 bucks per pints, flights were 9 bucks. Food was slightly higher in price.
Overall, if you go to Wynkoop, go for the beer, pass on the food.
