This is obviously more of a cheese destination than a beer destination. But the selection of beers is about as carefully selected as the cheese & the correlation between the two on level of quality is similar as well. The folks who work here seem genuinely interested and enthusiastic to talk about Beer, or wine, or most importantly cheese. But they’re knowledgeable enough about beer to put together a very nice but relatively small list and are friendly and willing to help out. All beers are pretty much sold at the shelf price you would find them at in any store... they can be taken away or opened there at the shop and enjoyed with a wedge of delicious cheese. This place makes Des Moines a lot friendlier a city to beer.
