50 Shopped here numbers of times. Some beers available, but not a beer destination. If you need groceries, and don’t want to make a special trip to a beer store, this is a good bet. |
56 all TJs are almost exactly the same in a city, the alcohol is exactly the same. Its TJs. |
62 Typical Trader Joe’s. At this one they had all the usual Trader Joe & JosephsBrau beers. Also had a few Ommegang’s, Unibroue’s, lots of Boulevard, a few Schlafly, and some other randoms. Decent prices. Great that they let you pull singles out of six packs to make your own! |
70 Another decent Trader Joe’s in the area. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Had a few of their Josephbrau beers in stock, nothing really exciting. Best to mix and match so you don’t have six of the same ok beers. |
76 As with all Trader Joe’s, a smallish but high quality, diverse, and very affordable selection. They have many "store-brand" beers brewed for them by micros such as Gordon Biersch, Goose Island, August Schell, Cervecería Mexicana, even Unibroue. It’s mainly a hipster foodie grocery store, but workers are surprisingly knowledgeable about the beer they sell. I love that you can mix your own six pack. My only complaint, though it’s rarely an issue, is they make you buy at least 3 bottles at a time. I’m pretty sure that’s no longer a state law because most other stores have done away with the policy. |
