| theisti (273), Leawood, Kansas | | May 22, 2012 Visited for dinner on a Tuesday. Narrow restaurant tucked away in an upscale strip mall. The layout of the restaurant is about half long bar, half booths. There are also several tables outside, which is where I sat. The draft list was solid (14 beers), though certainly not mind blowing. I would say this is not beer focused, but they certainly did take time to put on several solid beers (I drank Founders all Day IPA). The food was fresh and tasty, I had a pizza. Overall, good option for dinner on that side of town. | | MikeF (205), Cleveland, Ohio | | December 29, 2010 Upscale brewpub atmosphere. They have something like 14 drafts, many of which are macros. I do appreciate the couple of local Columbus beers they had on draft, however. The food is good. Prices are average to slightly high all around. | | Dogbrick (423), Columbus, Ohio | | June 14, 2010 (Visited 02/2009 and several times since): Matt The Miller’s is a relatively new restaurant in Dublin. It is off Avery-Muirfield and shares a lot with some other businesses in the plaza.
The interior is nicely decorated with a muted and neutral color scheme and soft lighting. The bar is up a couple of stairs on the left side of the establishment, separated partially from the seating area on the right.
The bar features around 14 taps with a few craft beers from brewers like Bell’s, Lagunitas, DFH, CBC, Great Lakes and Rogue domestically, and the standard Fuller’s/Harp type stuff for imports. As for bottles there are around 50 from Bell’s, Brooklyn, Great Lakes, CBC and others. Again the imports are mostly standard choices like Chimay, Murphy’s and the like. Duvel is kind of a stand out there though.
Service on a weekday afternoon was pretty good. The server was able to make food and beer recommendations effectively.
The food at MTM is upscale tavern fare. I tried "Matt’s Burger" and it was pretty good.
Overall this place is a pretty good spot to visit for a decent selection of beers, at least by Dublin standards. |
