Sitio nuevo con la mejor seleccion de botella, pude probar la sink y la tactical de brewdog en plan chupito, a parte tener como 15 referencia de barril. Muy agradable y muy buen servicio.

Decent craft-focused place tucked away at the end of Capel Street on Dublin’s Northside, near the multiplex cinema. Run by the Cottage Group (same crowd as the Brew Dock and Against the Grain), so you know what to expect: decent beer selection, simple but hearty food, and a heavy focus on profit margins. Black Sheep has less of a tap selection than the other two places (you’ll not find any interesting or exclusive US draught items here as you often do in the others), and has focused more on cask ale, with 4 handpumps. However, never, ever, ever have I seen all 4 in action - one or two is the norm, with a third on occasions. Nothing groundbreaking either (some mainstream English ales, and Irish cask offerings) and it’s been hit and miss on occasions in terms of quality and condition. Prices are on the high side, especially given its location. Bottle list is fairly extensive, although prices often border on the ridiculous - 9quid for a Thornbridge Jaipur anyone? Very strange decor to the place...as my girlfriend said "you can tell a middle aged, single, straight bloke has decorated it" - all battleship grey, mish-mash furniture, and odd paintings. Quite a hollow cafe-ish vibe to the place. One nice Chesterfield sofa, so if you grab that then you’re golden. New downstairs area with dartboard and table footy - nice touch. Staff are mostly friendly and well-informed...apart from when the waitresses are left to man the taps - that can be painful. In all, not a bad place by any means - one of the best the city has to offer - but there’s a spark missing (as it is in all Cottage Group premises in my opinion). However, it’s definitely worth a look - especially if you can nab the sofa!

i think this was my top pick for Dublin. . 3 casks .. a dozen taps with thought out picks.. 3-4 house beers .. great bottle selection .. some food items but i wasn’t hungry .. stopped in twice .. they do healthy sampler tray of any three beers .. didn’t particularly like the 2 novice slovak chicks working the bar (nice to look at but i honestly don’t think they’d ever poured a beer before i walked in) .. comfortable seating if not there to eat .. i really enjoyed my stops in.

Quiet daytime pub. Busier by night. Spacious. Mainly tables and chairs. Downstairs open at busier times. Very good selection of craft tap and bottled beers. 4 rotating cask pumps of which 3 are normally active. Free wifi. Good low volume background music. No tvs. Very nice spot

A nice surprise to stumble upon this kind of bar in the centre of Dublin. It’s just a short walk from O’Connell Street. Nice selection of craft beer, especially from the UK and USA. Microbrew from Ireland on tap and very few industrial lagers. Around 20 taps plus two large refrigerators with bottles. The most interesting selection I saw in Dublin. The interior looks more like a café than a pub. Nice and friendly atmosphere.
