Last stop on our Dublin beer exploration. Small cramped liquor store with wine and liquor upfront and beers in the back corner. Sixers of both cans and bottles available as well as singles. The guy running the place was nice. Though not sure I would return.

Nice little store in Dublin. A bit off the beaten path, but worth finding. Excellent selection of Irish beers. Good European selection. Also a good selection of beer from the U.S. Found bottles of KBS. Very friendly and prices seemed fair. If Irish beers are your thing, stop by.

Really nice bottle shop near the centre of Dublin. Irish beers on one side of the shop and imports on the other. Super friendly owner was only too happy to make some recommendations and instruct on where to find certain worthwhile Irish micros. Prices seemed reasonable, though I have nothing to compare them to really. Definitely worth a stop when in town.

Deceptive off licence, not much room inside but filled to the gills with yummy beers from around the globe. Picked up my Belgian beers, their selection is impressive, although a couple I wanted were unavailable. The service was particularly good as the fellow behind the counter gave some handy pointers and promised to have the missing beers in the next time I called.

small but seemingly very carefully chosen selection. must admit I didn’t even look at the non-Irish selection, though a passing glance spotted some good stuff! Was trying to narrow down my selection to what I could drink before getting to airport, when chap said they ship to Britain, €15 for 20kg... sold! So now got 14 Irish craft beers turning up next week. Very helpful and honest staff - chap was quite happy to tell me which beers weren’t as good!

Smallish store just over the quay near to Phoenix Park. Beer is in the back, not a whole lot of inventory, I was expecting more variety, but what they did have was very good. The guy working was very nice and had a bit of a chat. Based on the reputation I thought the place and inventory was going to be much bigger, most of the stuff can be found in offies around the city. A bit of a letdown.

Tiny spot in Stoneybatter, packed to the gills with great beers. Frankly, its too small, you can barely get around it and the full range is never on display, you need to have checked the website and then ask for it or better yet order and collect. That said, this is the best off-licence in Ireland, run by proper beer geeks. They are first to get everything that hits the Irish market and are always happy to have a chat about the latest and greatest. Highly recommended.

The selection was not as great as I thought, but still good enough. I blame my expactations. The service, however, was excellent. I had a nice conversation about Irish and Swedish beers with the owners, and after that we discussed football (!).
After I´d paid I received a bottle of Porterhouse Celebration Stoout Barrel Aged for free, just because "you seem to be a nice bloke and it´s perfect for you when you´ll celebrate the victory tonight" (it was a draw so the beer was packed down in my suitcase to follow me home).
As I said, excellent!
