November 17, 2011 Visited here on Nov. 17, 2011. 20 total taps, and 3 are house taps - the bartender told me that they just started brewing their own beer about 4 months ago. So I wasn’t expecting a lot, but I tried the 3 house taps (which he gave me for free - hence the 10/10 on value!), which were the Pacche Radler (he tells me they wanted to make a cider, couldn’t because of the laws, so this is a peach version of a beer that is close), the Maple Ale, and the Double Hop IPA. I wasn’t expecting much - new to brewing, only 3 beers.....wow, was I in for a treat. All three beers were excellent, but the Double Hop IPA is downright genious. Magic in a glass, I kid you not. You really need to find a way to give this one a try - I had visions of Pliny, and I’m not joking. The bartender was so unassuming - he’s like "hey, thanks for the compliment" when I was raving about the IPA, and I’m thinking "dude, no really.....do you understand what you have here...." |
