Visited here in the summer of 2010. Had been aware of this venue for a few years but hadn’t got round to visiting. It seems the beer range/choice had gone downhill compared to a few years earlier. There were 2 redundant cask lines evident. There was however one non macro tap stout available - Carlow O’Haras which is probably the only one I’ve seen in Dundalk over the last 5 years or so! Also (see availability) some bottled beers that aren’t the standard macro crap. Bar itself is a trad irish style town centre affair with plenty of bric a brac and largely wooden seating/tables. Visited around 9pm on a Saturday and we just squeezed into the last table going. Quite a noisy bar with a younger crowd. A doorman had appeared outside by the time we left. For Dundalk - as good as it gets in terms of something other than macro!
