’The Trades’, as it is locally known is an amazing pub with a great selection of beers. Dundee is not generally a beer destination, with most pubs selling standard Scottish lagers/ales. The Trades has an amazing array of imported beers on draught, between 25 to 30 taps (Very very very good for North East Scotland!). The staff have a good knowledge of all of these drinks and can recommend a drink suitable to your interests (Upon recommendation I discovered Blue Moon at this pub) Beyond the beer on offer, The Trades has a beautiful early 20th century interior as well as a good atmosphere. I give this pub a very high recommendation because of the impressive selection of beer available in a location quite adverse to foreign beer. The Trades is best enjoyed during the day as it is very popular in the evenings.
