Great little above average Alt. Freindly service. Very crowded. You can buy the Silberfuchsen in bottles. ood Grillteller. Must go.

At the northern fringe of the Altstadt, some distance from the other places. Same character however. Altbier and Silberfüchschen (Weizen), plus in december the Weihnachtsbier (in bottle, on tap only on the 24th). And check their website - very original.

A nice, quite big brewpub with a nice atmosphere. Did not try any food, but tested a nice altbier. But my big favourite is Uerige!

Second only to Zum Uerige as a place to drink in Dusseldorf. Excellent Altbier and there’s a Weizenbier for the peasants. Good food menu; the Schweinehaxe is justifiably popular, giving you a pice of meat which could easily serve as a joint for a small family.

Just loved the food here it was great, best meal of the vacation. Good beer as well, nice place to visit, recommended

The place might seem rather small outside, but it is actually fairly roomy. The place is a bit outside the beaten path in the northern part of the Altstadt and hence there seem to be hardly any tourists. The Altbier is above-average. The food (Gulaschsuppe) was hearty and well-priced. Sadly, the selection is very limited, so you better like Altbier!

Beer: What can you say? Füchschen Alt is the best beer in the world! Food: Kidneys are worth trying! Overall: I love this place!

Fast and frindly service, impressive food menu. The beer is great, though I wish they could sell the Christmas beer to be consumed on the premises and not only as take away!
