Great altbier. Food, like the service, is rather hit or miss. A must visit nevertheless.

The best altbier in town is served here. Very spacey, huge place with long halls and several huge rooms. Great food also, huge portions to a very cheap price. A must go when in Dusseldorf

Yes. The best Alt in Dusseldorf and the best service. Right across the street from Goldener Kessel. Can get crowded but you can get a glass of Alt even in the toilet area if you ask for it.

Large light wooden medium fulled brewpub. Still took some time to order a beer from a unninterested lightdrunk bar service. Uerige is the place!!!

Big brewpub on one of the main streets in the Düsseldorf Altstadt, with the brewery in the back. One standard beer and occasionally a stronger version, Stike (written without a c!). The beer is good and so is the food. Almost opposite is the Goldene Kessel (Schumacher).

Nice place, Didn’t have the food. Pretty awesome alt and great location right in the old town. Lot’s of small rooms to find your seat. They keep filling your glass whether you are looking for it or not. I love Germany.

A lot going for it with a good food menu but I found the altbier not much more than OK and not in the same league as Uerige, Fuchschen or Schuhmacher. Worth a visit nonetheless.

IMO best alt in town here. it was a very nice beer. it was also a nice place to visit, seem recently renovated, they had tvs and we watched the bundesliga, overall very enjoyable experience here

a wonderful place to go for alt and dinner,but difficult for any brewpub anywhere to compete with the ambiance of uerige! good and friendly service in both the brewpub and gift store.a must stop if visiting.
