pubscout (2), Perth Amboy, New Jersey does not count - explanation | | April 24, 2009 An excellent resource for the craft beer lover...extensive collection of singles as well as sixers from far and wide...impressive German selection would have been a 10 if I could have found Einbecker ur-Maibock...carries one of my favorite summer brews--Wild Blue--and keeps it stocked. Not as big a store as Oak Tree Buy-Rite Discount liquors in South Plainfield, but certainly well stocked. Nice folks, too. Worth the trip for those who can’t make it to Oak Tree. | | hopdog (197), Lansdale, Pennsylvania | | June 9, 2007 Decent selection of singles, although for me, I didn’t find anything to pick up. Rogue, Weyerbacher, Captain Lawarence, Stone, etc. Personally, I think I’ll drive out a little further out to Oak Tree... | | johnadam2002 (10), Hainesport, New Jersey | | May 11, 2007 [ Updated May 21, 2007 ] A little far from where I am but well worth the drive. Excellent selection of craft brews. The owner is very proud of what he carries. DogFish Head vintages, Stone, Rogue, Weyerbacher, and Mississippi Mud (favorite) just to name a few. Wide selection of each too. | | iratherbe (32), Marlton, New Jersey | | September 19, 2005 [ Updated September 28, 2005 ] Thx. for the recommendation. FYI - don’t miss it - off of Rt. 18, behind some other stores. Very good selection in both sixes & singles. They also put together sample packs such as pumpkin ales & Octoberfests. A practice I wish more places would do. | | stegosaurus (34), Levittown, Pennsylvania | | July 15, 2005 [ Updated September 6, 2006 ] called them on the phone first checking to see if they had certain beers in stock, whoever answers the phone doesnt know much about beer, but the owner was more than eager to speak about beer, went to visit, the owner is a cool dude they had a nice selection, and a ton of wine, good place was worth the drive. | Shadrach (1), Brooklyn, New York does not count - explanation | | April 3, 2004 The owner Nick Agathis went out of his way to talk about the selection with me, is generally excited about the selection he carries and is eager to expand his selection to better service his clientele. He even invited me back for an informal tasting at some time in the future. |
