Been to a few of these Granite City places - all the same. About 6 beers - 5 regular, 1 rotating - pretty decent beer overall. The Pale Ale/IPA is my favorite, although they happened to be out of it tonight (Doh!). Food is always above average also, good menu selection.

Nice place. Was very crowded when we were there on Saturday night. Had a very decent Bock. My wife had the Northern Light and said it was decent also. Didn’t try the food, so can’t comment, but there sure were a lot of people in there eating.

I stopped in for a late dinner on my way to the Embassy Suites. Decor is very semi-upscale with a chain ambiance. They had a nice selection of beer styles on tap, however not all of them are brewed on premises. The beers were just ok, with the exception of their Pale Ale and Batch 1000- those were decent. My flat bread pizza was extremely bland, and tasted like a generic frozen pizza. My dad had pork chops, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw which was not bad. We ate at the bar and the bartender was excellent. Friendly and attentive. I recommend getting the sampler and choosing your go to beer from that.

Plenty of seating inside and out. Sits along the Illinois riverfront. Staff was courteous and prompt. The lighting was quite dark but that provided for a private atmosphere. Unfortunately, it had a poor beer variety and I wasn’t even offered or informed any seasonals. However, my sampler was free and my 20 oz. IPA was delicious. Server knew a little about beer, but thats probably a prerequisite to work here. The food was great, large portions. Would I go back? Yes, definitely, I have a few more brews to try.
