| esjaygee (204), Oak Creek, Wisconsin | | October 9, 2011 A pretty good selection of craft beer for a grocery store including a singles section where I found a few more Wisconsin beers I haven’t had. A step down from the coffee grounds, but not too bad for Eau Claire. | jlrothbauer (2), Bloomer, Wisconsin does not count - explanation | | May 3, 2011 A grocery store? Really? Gordy’s has morphed itself into an extremely reliable go-to for great beer. They are also going out of the way to promote craft beer in the area by hosting tasting events, etc.
| | heemer77 (205), Urbandale, Iowa | | May 4, 2009 On a recent visit, I was fairly impressed with the selection. It looks like it was newly completed with a layout much like a Woodmans. The prices were a little high and the old guys working there didn’t seem to know much about the products. I was able to load up on lots of new stuff, but would have liked to have seen more singles. Worth a stop if you are in the area. | | buckybeer (11), Eau Claire, Wisconsin | | August 29, 2008 We really needed this in Eau Claire. Yea we have a specialty store and a few grocery stores in the area that have a decent selection of beer but not like this. This reminds me a a smaller Woodmans. You will find most of your Wisconsin micros as well as Bells, Dogfish Head, STONE !!!! (hell yea), Southern Tier, Oskar Blues and many more. A real nice selection of Belgians and other imports. They have a big selection of singles (200+). Easily the best selection in the Chippewa Valley and maybe even West Central Wisconsin. There is even a tasting area. |
