Tavern on France

Stopped in with a few friends pre Star Wars. A large restaurant with a small bar area. Place was packed but service was still solid. Beer was cheap during happy hour but the selection was mainly macro and a few well distributed micros. I had a pizza that was pretty good and happy hour pricing was real nice. Not a beer destination.

No serious craft beer here. The happy hour is really good, for food, in Edina, where there are pretty much no other options. I do like this place and have been several times, but not a beer destination in any way, which I think is important to note. Have a pizza or burger, it is hard to go wrong.

Favorite happy hour spot. Club card is key to cheap 25 ounce taps. They usually have 3 or so rotating bottle options for seasonals. Can be very crowded around 5:30-6. I’ve been brought the wrong beer a few times.

Great food and cheap beer. If you join the mug club its $3 for 25oz beer. Summit, Newcastle and a few others on tap. Very good food and cheap apps during happy hour
