Busy place, especially on nights where Hearts are playing or the rugby is on at Murrayfield. Place has exceptional pub food and a nice selection of beer. Dining there is a pleasure even on full nights. Usually a good blend of Scottish Ales worth trying. They work with local breweries for a variety of guest taps and have a variety of more or less alright foreign beers. The service is very decent. Children are allowed until 8 pm. Bookings for dinner recommended but not always necessary.

Visited this pub on the Great Graig Pubcrawl Tour 23/4-2012. This cosy modern pub is in an old store room. Has a long bar with a great selection of both scottosh and english beers. They have 8 handpumps and a nice selection of foreign bottle beers. The doors to the toilets looks a bit like stable doors, but donīt worry, they have real toilets :-). They do food as well, the menus are on the traditionel blackboard, but didnīt have anything there. Friendly staff and a very nice place to come.

Well ive been in Edinburgh Long enough to see this place Ebb and Flow. In fact it was probably one of the first pubs i was in in Edinburgh. Its gone through some rough patches over the 10year but it now climbed to the top ... Great selection of Scottish beers... Good condition... well served and nice big comfortable pub ... But one place that this place excell is the food. Its a little pricy but the food is superb. Plus it allows kids and there FEW good pubs in Edinburgh that allow kids. There is along side the Great cask range a very impressive bottle list. Well worth a visit.

A great local! Bottle and cask selection is outstanding and regularly changing, keg offering is the same as you would get in most boozers in town as I believe they are tied on keg products, which is a shame but not their fault. Food is also brilliant, some of, if not the best pub food in town.

Great place for pairing a meal with several beers. They have 8 casks, 7 drafts and a long list of beers. Mostly Scottish beers on offer. Staff is really helpful by offering samples and showing bottles.

A modern beer bar in the west end of Edinburgh with a good selection of both cask & bottled beers. Very quiet on a Monday night. Satisfactory service. a bit of a walk but well worth a visit if you are doing a pub tour of Edinburgh.

A pub that is busy midweek with both sexes. There is a good selection of Scottish Ales which rotates well - some nights excellent, some nights, the odd dodgey ale in there. There is also a thin selection of good quality beer from around the world in bottles. They have to sell ths usual mundane beer too, I think. I’d recommend a visit.

A nice place with a decent range of Scottish cask ale. Always good to see the Tempest beers, particularly the ReWired. Staff know their stuff and the food is better than most pubs with a fair selection of veg/fish options

8 real ale pumps (only 6 were in use) showcasing a nice selection of scottish ale. 16 keg taps, most of which are lagers. lots of wine and spirits and a fairly nice bottled beer selection for a common pub.
