Tacky JDW pub. You’d never go there if not for the beer. But the prices are good and in our three-week stay in Scotland I think this place actually delivered the most really kick-ass beers. They really brought in some good stuff. If possible, drink outside because the vibe really is a bit terrible.

Cask Marque creds, impeccably kept ales, frequently rotating taps, and great prices make it worth sucking up the corporate sucktitude of this Weatherspoons pub. Not quite as good as the Weatherspoons on George St called Standing Order, which has twice the hand pumps and three times the atmosphere. But still a decent stop if in this edge of town.
