| AshtonMcCobb (52), Edinburgh, Scotland | | August 1, 2011 Cosily laid out traditional bar, though when there’s a crowd, it can get bottle-necked in certain places. Friendly service - didn’t try the food but from observations of others, it looked a little better than average pub grub. Good atmosphere, normal pricing or even below for this part of town. A good venue, though it could really expand its range of bottled and cask or keg beers. | | JohnRMurdoch (208), Glasgow, Scotland | | March 12, 2011 Quaint traditional basement bar in the heart of the city centre. Much larger than it looks, in fact is a bit of a rabbit warren. 4 interesting real ales on tap served in dimpled mugs. I thought the Orkney Northern Light I had was a bit off.
Live Sky Sports on large screen TVs. Close to 2 JDW pubs and makes an interesting alternative to them. |
