Cosily laid out traditional bar, though when there’s a crowd, it can get bottle-necked in certain places. Friendly service - didn’t try the food but from observations of others, it looked a little better than average pub grub. Good atmosphere, normal pricing or even below for this part of town. A good venue, though it could really expand its range of bottled and cask or keg beers.

Quaint traditional basement bar in the heart of the city centre. Much larger than it looks, in fact is a bit of a rabbit warren. 4 interesting real ales on tap served in dimpled mugs. I thought the Orkney Northern Light I had was a bit off. Live Sky Sports on large screen TVs. Close to 2 JDW pubs and makes an interesting alternative to them.
