A beer store for locals. Not worth a detour since they do not have beers you can not find elsewhere in Southern Rogaland. Berentsens beers are widely spread in local supermarkets. Some bottles from England/Scotland and of course Nøgne Ø and Ægir. (Vistited May 12th 2012)

Above average selection of Norwegian macros, some micros and some imports, comparable with some of up range food chains in Norway, like Helgø, Ultra and Meny.

As mentioned earlier, the Norwegian laws do not allow beers over 4.7% in common stores, so the selection is naturally quite limited. But they make the best of it, have a pretty good selection of norwegian microbrewery beer and larger brewery beer. Although they can not legally have anything on sale, the christmas beer was spectacularly cheap after christmas. Totally worth a visit if you are in the Stavanger area as well.

As they are only allowed to sell beers with less than 4,7% abv, Berentsen offers a good selection of norwegian and a smaller selection of import beer. Great place to find hard-to-get beers.

This place is great, and have done their best to offer great beers within the boundaries of stupid norwegian laws. Great prices and offers. One of the main attractions of Egersund.

30.07.2010. Deasant beerstore in Egersund. The selection is usually better than it was on the 30. of july. I got Adnams Gunhill and The bitter, but they did not have the beers from Berentsen that I was looking for. Helpful girl behind the counter.

When in Egersund, this is the place to visit. Good selection for a Norwegian store, including some foreign beers and some hard to find Norwegians. Nice staff, knowing what they got, but not very knowledgable about beer in general.

Good selection of Norwegian macros, some micros as well. They also sell many of the wide distributed import beers here.

Beer store at the Berentsens brewery -but they have beers from further afield too - most Norwegian breweries, including Nøgne Ø, are represented, and they also have some British b/c and non-b/c ales.
