As a resident of El Paso’s Sunset Heights, I often visit Hemingway’s on Friday evenings (before the d-bag college crowd shows up). And, yes, Hemingway’s has the best beer selection of any El Paso bar. The waitresses are generally pleasant, and the bartenders usually don’t make me wait too long. Hemingway’s is definitely the best watering hole on Cincinnati ("the main bar strip" across from UTEP).

Well, El Paso, so not expecting too much, but this place was really lame. Bartender very uninterested. Selection was probably the best for El Paso, but the place has NO atmosphere. No food and who cares if you can’t smoke- it goes with the territory.

a really respectible beer bar in the middle of the main bar strip for the UTEP campus. I was quite inpressed-DFH 60 min, chimay, stone, north coast, and many other good micros. belgians are limited to chimay, duvel, orval and some of the more common ones. No smoking is a definate plus (thats a city ordinance!) Maybe i will take the drive down here once in a while and enjoy some good beer in a bar setting. ReRate-im going to bump up the ratings here. I was there last night (4/23) and they had some different beers there including SN Bigfoot for $3 a bottle! I would say thats a good deal. Some frinedly folks there too. No smoking is a definate plus as well!
