A fantastic brewery and a fantastic place to visit and sample the beers following a brewery tour. The bar is cosy and relaxing and the staff are friendly. A great experience.

(visit: January 2011) Nice relaxed atmosphere with a lot of walkers or cyclists stopping by for a drink. Service can be a bit slow, but Chris is not the kind of guy to stress out. Selection is seasonal, but I think if you only have so many beers, you should offer all of them in the brewery. And which Belgian beer geek did not take the tour with Chris’ mom? A big little old lady. Amazing how she even does the tours in English! A must have been for any Belgian beer geek and traveller capable of getting there (I figure you really need a car to get there).

Nice brewery bar, you can drink what the have at the moment. There is also a brewery visit that is very interesting.

Did a fun tour here through the cool brewery as guided by mum. Good value for money for sure. Tasting room has a good atmosphere. Didn’t try their food. Unfortunately only Arabier was available of all their beers. A real shame with such a brilliant collection.

Nothing beats taking the tour with Chris on Sundays of this old brewery with its famous open fermenter, then sharing a few in the tasting room. All the clasics on draft and in bottles, plus an occasional surprise keep me coming back.

Wonderful place with a fun atmosphere. All standard Dolle beers on tap and bottle, and some seasonal stuff. Can buy beers in boxes with 20 bottles for 28 euro’s, or sixpacks for 10 euro’s. Also this brewery is an art-gallery.

Been coming here for years for the take away beers. Great pub, great atmosphere, great beer. An essential visit when in the area.

This is a very cozy place. Kris was very kind, provided me with some experimental brew. Also special toast is delicious.

Enjoyable afternoon. Mom give an interesting tour and is very proud of her sons. This really is a hobby brewery as they brew only at the end of the week and the pub is only open Saturday and Sunday. Kris is easy to talk with and obviously enjoys visitors. Lots of locals including kids and dogs. Only complaint, they only had 3 beers available the day we visited.

This place is fantastic. The best brewery in Belgium. Was lucky to arrive just before the Sunday tour of the brewery. Great beer stories from the 93 year old grand mother of the brewry and she know her beer. I was so please to see that they have well recovered from the fire. Kris, the boss was very nice to serve us some nice samples of Stille Nacht and their Special Experemental Brew 2010, that was like being in haven there. Very very worth visiting. On Sundays.
