Nice locals haunt with the feel and look of an old coaching inn unchanged by time. Low beams, bulky pillars that divide the bar area, relics of old on random shelves and window recesses that give it a homely feel. Can get rowdy, as I found out late on a Saturday night. Staff are great, the barman/cellarman/keeper is a character himself. Ten handpumps, all ales and ciders are kept well and served well. St Austell mainly, a few odd ones on rotation all from the west country brewers. A great old pub!
