I really liked the layout of the place. I liked the island in the middle. darkly lit. Couple of TV’s around. Selection was good. There were a ton of local favorites on hand as well as some things I can’t normally get. Only stayed to get one drink. Service was ok, not great. They weren’t busy, it wasn’t crowded.

Beer was good nothing to spectacular service was terrible they just forgot about us. Food was ok.

really cool place, a bit small, but nice, very good selection of brews. a tad pricy, but the atmsospher is really nice, and the bartenders are pretty knowledgable about the beers.

Cool beer bar. Was there for a Russian River tasting. Excellent selection on tap and in bottles. I didn’t eat, but bought a few bottles of beer to go... always a nice feature. The staff was extremely busy (happy hour), but very attentive and friendly. Anyway, it’s all about the beer and the beer was great!

Due to extreme rain, ate here iso Victory Brewpub in Downingtown....no Vics on draft ! oh no ! However, the "Room" DID have les Trois Forchettes, an unbelievable Belgian brew.... [supposedly] only 40 or so kegs make it to the USA twice/year. Also had real hopped up CA brew - Palate - that is brewed by the same guys that brew Arrogant Bastard. Lucky me....bought some Hopdevils the next day @ a beer store. Very upscale dining - veal tenderloin was a special - excellent food - excellent service. most veggies are locally homegrown on farms - real fresh.

The problem with this place is that it is too close to Victory. I tend to want to go there instead for the 1 night that I am in the area. Too bad though, because this a great place to drink beer and eat. The selection of rotating drafs and bottle beers is very good. The bar is in a area separate from the restaurant, which I prefer. The menu is upscale for a beer joint, but is good. The interior is classy, intimate, and quiet, but not too pretentious for the beer drinker. Definitely worth a visit in a geographic area full of great brew joints, including McKenzie, Victory, Sly Fox, and this place.

A nice selection of beer although the bar area is quite small. The one bartender came across as rude to my party, and our waitress in the dining area clearly wanted to be somewhere else. The food was decent, nothing spectacular.

A nice selection of 14 handles or so with a bottle list of about 100. As of mid June, they had tapped 180 different kegs. Service at the bar was stellar, although I didn’t try the food. Mostly a good beer restuarant.

The Drafting Room is one of my favorite stops when I am in the Philly area. Great selection of beers and new beers on tap every week.
