64 beer selection was ok service was ok food was not good prices were ok I can see by other reviews and beer here tab that I must have just gone here at the wrong time |
80 Nice spot off of Snelling near the Fair Grounds. Bar is in the center as you walk in with booth seating on both sides. There is also a smaller semi private room in the back. Service was very good and friendly. The food we had was quite good. The beer was solid but I did not ask about flights. The prices seemed reasonable so they must have adjusted them recently. All in all I would come here again if I am nearby. |
84 I’ve been here many, many times, but apparently never rated this place. It is hands down, one of the best places to have lunch during the week in the Twin Cities. Sit up at the bar and they buy your first beer. Nice lunch specials. Food is above average. Nice wood fired pizza. Lots of nice salad selections (they do one that is piled high with spicy pulled pork that is excellent). Always several local things on that you don’t see everywhere. |
72 Nice pub near the UM-St. Paul Campus. Pretty standard bar food selection, but what I had was pretty decent. A decent selection of local beers to sample. They also have beer sampler flights, which is cool, but they don’t let you customize the flights, which kind of sucks. They have a few different set flights. All in all, a nice neighborhood place to grab a couple of beers. |
60 Stopped in for some brews and dinner. Not a bad selection at all, nice to see Castle Danger and Poor Decisions, kinda pricey though. Food was overpriced for the quality, it was nothing special whatsoever. Plus I take issue with any place that gives you an ounce of Ketchup for fries and a burger. Seriously are you too cheap to have a whole bottle available! I suppose since I only received about the amount of fries you’d receive at McD’s as a small I didn’t need as much, another issue. For a $12 sandwich and $11 burger I’d expect to see a heap of fries. |
68 Decent spot - nice atmosphere. 24 taps of pretty decent stuff. Small pre-defined flights available. Pints are fairly pricey - 5 to 7 bucks per. |
34 Way over priced. 9 dollars for a guinness... 9 dollars for a crispin... Miley Cyrus blaring on the juke box.. Crappy menu options. |
68 I was very excited to have a quality pub in the neighborhood. The food ,service, beer was all great. I thought, ’how lucky, it’s happy hour, we get a price break on the drinks’. Oh ho was I surprised to find out we had been drinking pints at $7.50 per! Sure the HH discount made it $6.50 but damn! If i am paying that much for a pint I had better be at the airport. Stout’s should mark their prices on the table tents or give fair warning. It’s barely a $6.50/pint ’hood much less $7.50. Fool me once, shame on you. You’re not getting a chance to fool me twice, sorry. |
