No music, no fruit machines, just beer. Very knowledgeable staff. Beer always in tip top condition. Constantly changing guest beers from everywhere! On the cask conditioned front they tend to stick to the "safer" breweries eg. Magic Rock, Dark Star, Marble, Thornbridge as the emphasis here is on quality so sometimes on the new-beer-ticking front can be dull. I know people who complain about prices here but as long as you stay under 5% abv or so I think prices are in line with London average or cheaper than the nearby Exmouth Arms and Gunmakers! Oversized glasses also mean you often get a bit more anyway, never a need to ask for a top up! Anybody remotely interested in beer has to come here. I often bump into beer friends in here and also have met and chatted to several brewers and beer geeks from all over the world in here.

Hit and miss over what they’ll have on keg last two visits nothing interested me and the prices have shot up a bit since they first opened meaning it has to be quite rare and special for me to pay £5+ for a 1/2 of beer. Bottle prices are nuts but the selection is good . The cask was poorly kept no creaminess its the best place in its area but its overrated imo and simply too expensive.

Cozy place in two storries. Excellent and knowledeable service. Many casks and taps. At my visit they had lots of Pizza Port due to a recent tap takeover along with Oakham, Revolutions etc.

No wonder this is the top rated place in the UK. Fantastic selection of keg and cask beers -- I came just after a bunch of Pizza Port beers were tapped. Bottle selection was very impressive as well. Prices are on the higher side, but that’s expected for London and the kind of beers available here. Service was extremely prompt and friendly. An absolutely must not miss when in London.

Fancier than what I prefer. Had a Southern Tier on tap in England, along with some local flavors. Quick pit stop and were ready to move on.

Visited an afternoon Saturday last september: great selection of British beers, either cask or taps. Cosy and comfortable atmosphere. Unfortunately I tasted only a couple of beers due to my delay but I’ll come back next time.

Visited the pub in rush hours and found more a classic pub ambiance than a craft beer bar ambiance.Good cask and new british brewers selection on tap but a bit disappointed with the lack of craft beer taps from other countries.

Visited many times - and will be back next time in London. Absolutely one of my favorite beer-spots to visit, whenever I am in London. Lovely 2 storage cornerpub, rather easy to get to from almost everywhere in London ( or that´s what I feel.. ). Even though it´s a spacy pub, it can be rather crowded at times. Beers in good condition, superfriendly staff, that´s know theit beer histrory. Cosy atmophere, you really feels beerlovers around you. Lovely ceilling of mirrors, I think a lot of people have taken pictures of it!!!.. They do from times to times have like meet the brewer / brewery events.. They have a few bar snacks, but you can´t eat here. See you next time in London :-)

Hmm not rated previously by oversight! Quite glad actually as there are two very different experiences I’ve had with this pub. The beer selection is of course fantastic. If you come when it’s quiet there can be few better places to drink, with super friendly and helpful staff and you realise the building is actually ok too. But after work it is too close to the City and gets rammed, staff are way too busy to chat (not their fault) and the pub is a bit of a victim of its own success.
