July 18, 2010 This was one of my regular places to shop when I lived in the area. Vast selection. They put all the broken six packs in the walkin cooler, so I’d go there first to see if there was something I wanted to try, and usually scoop up a box full. Case prices available for some brews too. |
October 22, 2008 Right off Rte 2, pretty easy to get to. Service not helpful, not too much beer knowledge here. Also, don’t look for any mixed 6-pack deals at Kappy’s, the price actually goes up. That said, good selection. Certainly a damn site better than my other choices in southern NH. About an hour’s drive from P-Boro. They will get my business again. However, if you are an eastern-half Massachusetts resident, go with Julio’s east of Worcester. |
August 18, 2005 [ Updated September 17, 2005 ] Located in a mass of sprawl just off Rt 2 X30. Big box store. Clean, but starting to show it’s age. Beer staright to the back.. Didn’t get offered or ask for help so score is left in middle. Real good selection, Big display of usual BMC, Canedien lagers, Gimmicky can aisle, though a few of the larger crafts, Sam Adams, Sierra Neveda cases for example, were tacked on the end of it. Great New England selection. All the usual suspects, Long Trail, Magic Hat, Smuttynose, Berkshire , growlers and 22oz bombers, Wachusett, McNeills, Geary’s, Concord, Stone Coast., Harpoon. Larger Craft brews Sam Adams,Sierra Nevada, Stone, Victory, DFH. Decent Euro Selection, Again usual suspects, Sam Smiths, Youngs, Orval. Good size shelf of the stuff. Walk in cooler that houses most of the BMC also has a singles rack in in. Had a Sake section as well. I’d guess it’s 300 bottles or so by eye count. No actual facts on that number though. Great store that was a place to go when we had limited openigs on sunday. I don’t know if I’d call it a go out of your way for, but if your out this way very easy to get to from Rt 2 |
